To prove that classics never fade!
The iconic shoes of the Maison in Rue Cambon renews itself, becoming a must-have of any wardrobe.
But what makes a product become a “must-have”?
That’s an hard question to answer… I think it’s a mix of aesthetic simpleness, a bit of boldness and the ability to generate desire.
The Maison Chanel has reached many times this mix with its tweed jacket, its classic bag and the bicoloured shoes.
It was the year 1957 when mademoiselle Gabrielle Chanel designed her last “must-have” for any female wardrobe: the bicolored shoes.
The bicoloured slingback are in leather, with ankle strap , taking the inspiration from the male shoes of that time.
As Gabrielle Chanel used to say : “you get out in the morning in beige and black, you have lunch in beige and black, you go to your cocktail in beige and black. You are elegant all the way through from morning to night!”
See you next week and remember:
As you are Stronger than you know.
More beautiful than you think.
Worthier than you believe.
